My husband and I relocated to Glendale two years ago but still drive to Mesa see Dr. Guffey. It is worth the trip! The staff are all very nice and Dr. Guffey always puts me at ease.

Dr. Guffey and his staff are very friendly and helpful. The follow up appointment for my son's extraction; we were right in and out less than 5 mins. His team is very knowledgeable and always try to help where needed especially with a busy schedule of mine.

Dr Shayne Guffey has two primary goals for you:
To give you a beautiful, healthy smile
To make your visit as comfortable as possible.
To accomplish this, he keeps his dental office up to date with state-of-the-art equipment, and by spending many hours in continuing education. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, a voluntary organization of dentists dedicated to staying abreast of current dental research and techniques. And he is a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, which is dedicated to providing training in oral sedation and other patient comfort techniques.
He also wants you to feel relaxed and welcome. He prides himself on taking the time getting to know each member of your family and remember their names. It's not surprising when Peggie, a patient of his, says that she feels like a member of the family. A lot of his patients feel that way.
Another part of Dr. Guffey's philosophy of dental practice is that he wants his care to be affordable. He understands that there are a lot of things you have to fit into your family budget, and dentistry is just one of them. If the recommended treatment is too expensive for you to fit into your budget, he may offer some less expensive options, suggest ways to phase in the treatment over time, or try to work out a payment plan for you.
And he wants to be sure you understand your treatment. He will take the time to discuss all procedures and treatments while thoroughly answering any questions. He'll never rush you in and out of the office—unless, of course, you have to pick up the kids at school!

This was my first visit and for consultation only, so I am planning on going back next week to get my full treatment.
