Dr Yasemin was amazing! She was gentle and made my 3 year old feel very comfortable. My son's teeth are terrible and she was so understanding and non-judgmental. Despite a few technology glitches, we didn't have to wait long. Also she was really proactive in working to get my insurance figured out. My son won't stop talking about the "prize bag" he got at the end of the visit. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Yasemin was exceptional. She was so patient and caring with my daughter. She calmed her down and took all of her jitters away. She is a great dentist and was very thorough in examining and cleaning my 4 year old's teeth. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Yasemin Kilical was raised in the Washington D.C. suburbs and always knew she wanted to be a dentist. She graduated from The George Washington University in three years with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then moved to New York City and attended dental school at Columbia University, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Kilical then completed a General Practice Residency at New York Methodist Hospital and specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Interfaith Medical Center, both in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Kilical was also actively involved in research while in dental school at Columbia University, and also worked at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for two years, resulting in numerous publications. Her areas of research was the role of stem cells in treatment of leukemia and oral cancer.
She is a member of many organizations, such as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. She is currently board-eligible in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Kilical treats children of all ages starting from infancy to the late teenage years. She provides comprehensive and preventative treatment including: exams, sealants, tooth-colored restorations, extractions, and emergency care and management. Dr. Kilical truly believes that dentistry should be a fun experience for children, while also providing high quality dental care in a caring and gentle way.

Dr. Kilical is kind, compassionate, and very professional. My daughter had a great experience in her office. She even got to watch cartoons while she was working on her.

I took my five year old son to Dr. Kilical. She is great with children. My son liked her immediately. Her office is very child friendly with toys & books for children. My son came home with toys, tooth brush, etc., and keep asking when he would be back to see Dr. K.

I took both my children ages 9 and 10 for a checkup, and my daughter had to go back for a filling. My daughter was very anxious prior to he second visit. Dr. Kilical's interaction with my daughter was amazing and she melted away my daughter's anxiety. I would give Dr. Kilical my highest recommendation.
