Dr. Sheng was fantastic. She was thorough, attentive and clearly cared about my comfort. She explained everything well, and I will go back to see her.
I wish I could say the same for the assistant that finished my cleaning. I believe her name was Maria. She was pretty violent with the flossing, (it was very painful as she *jammed* the floss between my teeth), and seemed to be pretty sloppy with the polishing. Additionally, when taking my bite-wing x-rays, not all were well-aligned. I know I'm a perfectionist, and understand not everyone else is, however in the medical/dental world I would prefer someone that paid attention to everything, as it makes a difference to the patient in the chair.
Oh! The front desk staff was great too. Very personable, and explained the forms nicely.

Dr. Yuchen Sheng completed her undergraduate studies at Florida State University, and then earned her doctorate in dental medicine with honors at University of Pennsylvania. She received further training on general, esthetic and surgical dental procedures at Lehigh Valley Heath Network, Allentown PA. To stay abreast of the latest technologies and techniques, Dr. Sheng participates in continued education courses on a regular basis. She is certified in Invisalign® and on the track to earn the Academy of General Dentistry Fellowship. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association. Dr. Sheng believes in providing comprehensive treatment and customized treatment options for each patient to achieve his or her functional and aesthetic needs. Her passion about dentistry and gentle touch makes each patient’s dental visit a pleasant and educational experience.
Dr. Sheng is licensed in both Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. Before joining Dr. E. Elkadry and Associates, she served the communities in Philadelphia suburbs. Now she is zealous in exploring the New England sceneries. She is also proudly “parenting” two rescued turtles, who are named after dental restoration polishing burs (Brownie and Greenie).
