Receptionists need to make sure that when confirming appointments it's at the correct office!!! A mistake causes problems and hours before seen by the doctor. Hopefully next time this won't happen!
Inside with Dr. Igor, it would be nice to have privacy and not have someone stand there listening to your private matters. Privacy would he nice.

Dr. Cohen graduated from the Andizhan State Medical Institute of Uzbekistan as one of the top 10 students in 1988. After completing his neurology residency, he worked as an attending physician and assistant professor for the neurology department until deciding to move to the U.S. During his professional career in Uzbekistan, he took several courses in invasive and noninvasive pain management. From 1999 to 2003, he underwent his neurology residency training at NSUH at Manhasset and served his last year as chief resident. He was then accepted into the fellowship program at the same hospital for "Clinical Neurophysiology and EMG," from which he graduated in 2004.
Since then, he is practicing general neurology with special interest in neurophysiology and pain management. Dr. Cohen performs and interprets EMG/NCS (electromyography/nerve conduction studies), EEG (electroencephalography), and SSEP/BAER/VEP/VNG.
Dr. Cohen is a neurologist with extensive experience treating headaches, facial pains, dizziness and vertigo, neck/back pains, and other conditions including neuropathy, stroke, dementia, memory problems, multiple sclerosis, and movement and neuromuscular disorders. He is also an expert in the therapeutic use of BOTOX injections for various medical conditions.
Dr. Cohen is meticulous in his treatment of different painful conditions and successfully employs the use of a variety of injections in his practice.
With over 20 years of service in the field of neurology, Dr. Cohen’s diligence and compassion continues to earn him the trust of thousands of patients in the tri-state area.

I am really upset at the treatment I received at his office.
This is not my first time there and I was shocked at how unprofessional he and his staff behaved. I arrived for my scheduled apt that was confirmed by them and the receptionist was looking at me like I didn't belong there - she then said she didn't see my apt and I told her it was made with zocdoc. a few minutes later the dr came into the reception area and very rudely and in front of everyone there yelled that he I didn't have an apt because he is the one that confirms the appts and he didn't confirm an apt for me. I took out my phone to show him the confirmation email I received and he just walked back into his office and called the next patient in. The receptionist refused to look at my phone and just kept speaking to the other patient in Russian like I wasn't standing there - I interrupted and told her she needs to show him the confirmation because it was confirmed and she refused to take the phone still and insisted she will take a picture of it - she acted like I was a leper. I told her she was unprofessional and the dr was unprofessional and rue and she told me well he's tired to which I replied I am tired too I just came form work.
Needless to say I am looking for a new dr and will never go back to that office again. I felt discriminated against and disrespected.

He was very uninterested in why I was in there. I had to wait over 2.5 hours to see him! My appt was at 2pm and they called me into his office at 4:45. The receptionist told me I had to wait longer than everyone else because I made an appointment through ZocDoc. And after all that waiting, he was rolling his eyes and texting the entire 10 minutes I was with his at his desk. He was more interested in writing me prescriptions then finding out what was wrong with me. Never again. I went to find another Neuro and very happy!

Frontdesk was nice but super long wait time for a doctor who didnt even shake my hand. He had an assistant in the room during my whole visit and the entire time she was on her phone very unprofessional. I told him the nurse practioner i normally see told me I had cronic migrane and cohen laughed and said let him decide not some N.P... very rude. Looking for a new neurologist.

The wait time for the office was ridiculous. I showed up to my appointment early and waited over an hour to be seen by the doctor. The doctor is very knowledgeable but is not the most warm individual. Unfortunately, I am beyond annoyed at the fact that they DO NOT TAKE MY INSURANCE. Online said the office took my insurance, the ladies at the desk took a copy of the card and said they took the insurance, and then a day later the office called and said "sorry we can't see you anymore we don't take your insurance". Very unhappy with this! Completely unacceptable.

My first visit not only was the staff not welcoming and not friendly at all but every patient that was waiting complained about the same thing which was if you have an appt for a certain time why do you wait up to two hours to see this doctor who had no personality at all. Is not welcoming to new patients and the receptionist told us we had to wait because be has to finish paperwork. Why would this Dr. Notcdo his paperwork after he bas seen his patients!
