He was very good
It was good
I highly recommend to other people visit Igor Khelemsky. Excellent service, professional doctor's.
I was seen by several People in this office don't know any names and they spoke in their language not professional or good bedside manner even the girls at the front desk looked so unhappy
He was kind and hopeful and thorough and his staff was very helpful and good at explaining things. It is clear he really know everything about headaches and I am happy to be working with him. I
Dr.Khelemsky really knows his stuff and makes you feel as if what your going through will get better. They all are very informed ad confident
Very professional, took his time and addressed all my issues and concerns.
For the first time in my life I met a doc today who said that I have to read about my chronic daily headache on Internet and educate myself. Why do I need you for in this case? After I've told him about my symptoms and what I thought might be the reason he arrogantly denied it and accused me of being a difficult patient because I dare to suggest, based on my observation, some reasonable explanation to my everyday headaches. I obviously annoyed him and took more than 4 min Of his time. After a test was performed and my suspicions and suggestions were confirmed he did not have decency to accept the fact that I was right. One more thing that I think is important: docs assistant after talking to me quite impatiently for 2 min said that they will not give me any painkillers, although I did not ask or even mentioned I need any. Did she place me right into addict category? Did I give her that impression? Rude and unprofessional person and as arrogant as doc. I was insulted and mistreated and disrespected as never before. Awfull experience. Marina and Halina at the reception desk were nice and pleasant. Thank you ladies.
I was pleased with the PA, Technician and Doctors professionalism on my initial visit. I was administered evaluative tests and referred for an MRI, which I hope to have done immediately
The receptionist are a little slow otherwise great. ??
Staff are good and didn't have to wait long great service !
The staff was front desk staff was unprofessional. When tested, you may possibly be in a room with other patients. Not a pleasant experience.
I had a visit with his lovely assistant. She was very thorough and informative. Excellent staff and very polite.
Great staff very attentive.
The delay even for the first patient of the day is not understandable .
They were very unprofessional I didn't even know who the doctor was. the receptionist was rude. The P.A was rude the doctor was too busy to talk to me and didnt even introduce himself until the end. Go somewhere else.
Very thorough, very understanding and felt very comfortable.
Was taken right away. Didn't meet with Dr. Khelemsky for long, but his Physician's Assistant (Olga) was fantastic.
The doctor was condescending, being reluctant to explain what each medication he was prescribing was used for and how it worked, other than stating that it was for "treating the problem" because it was "very complicated." The (4290 Broadway) office was chaotic, dirty, and I did not have faith in the medical assistants' skill. That being said, the recommended a number of additional tests, which will help rule out any serious neurological problems and was the reason I went to see him. I suppose that was thorough.
Except for the long wait, excellent. Wayne R.
it great place
The was very curtious .
Dr. Khelemsky was great; however, the wait time was horrible. When I threatened to leave, only then was I seen. I never completed my follow up for this very reason.
The only convenient thing is that they do most of the test at the office. Most of his staff (receptionist, PA ans techs) are professional except for an assistant that was kind of rude.
Dr. Khellemsky was great. The wait time was horrible. I was only seen after sharing that I was leaving. Then and only then was I seen. I had been waiting for one hour and a half.
Dr. Khelemsky is a fine doctor, but it's extremely disappointing that every time I visit him that I have to wait two hours past my appointment time to actually see the doctor. (If my insurance were accepted elsewhere, I wouldn't be going back to him. But I have to because my migraines are severe and debilitating.) I arrived at his office at 8:45am for my 9am appointment, and I didn't see the doctor until 12:15pm. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the service and the wait time. Thanks to this, I am on thin ice with my employer now.
Wait time was very short on both visits. I was also offered the option of getting my medical records/results online which was nice. Staff was very responsive and was very thorough with their follow up. They worked with me on prescriptions when my insurance would only cover one with a limited supply and were very helpful as to next steps/future treatment/tracking options. I would highly recommend this office.
Dr. Igor Khelemsky was very thorough and VERY informative. I left the office with a great understanding as to what my condition was. what causes it, and gave me hope that my condition will go away if I take the medication properly. Dr. Igor Khelemsky is great!!
It was great.
Listened to me, walked me through my options for headache care. Explained each one thoroughly. I feel good about the office and the doctor!
The the staff is quite helpful and knowledgeable. The doctor is extremely intelligent, well spoken, and gave me treatment options I hadn't been told about previously from other neurologists. I left the office immediately better off than when I visited, which can't be said by most new patients. If you speak Russian, this office is great for you as they are bilingual and have Russian signage all over the place. They are also quite fluent in English as well, but based upon what I saw in the waiting room, most of their patients are Russian.
Dr khelemsky is doing a great job treating me. The Doctors and office staff are professional and very helpful.
The Dr didnt even introduce himself to me. He came in, stuck me with 2 needles, then left. I had to hear my diagnosis from the phsysicians asst. Otherwise the staff was great!
Very knowledgeable in his field about the latest treatments and medications. He is concerned about what's best for his patients.
Professional and knowledgable and attentive
It was my first visit Ben to a lot of doctors he is definity worth going to was very understanding listen to what I had to say checked out my problem and worked with me not against me thank you doctor i am looking forward to seeing him again
Attention to my health issue was very professional.
My visit was mostly conducted by the P.A., and I only saw the doctor for 5-10 minutes and he was very rude and condescending. The P. A. also treated me as if I was a hypochondriac and I was causing my own headaches. She could not understand that my job was the reason and when I told her my profession, which is a teacher, she looked at me as if I was crazy. I went there for help and left feeling horrible. They did the appropriate testing but their bedside manner was horrible. I would not recommended this practice to anyone.
My visit with this doctor wasn't pleasant. Although I completed the forms for ZocDoc online, the receptionist did not understand and I had to fill out the forms again. Next, I was finally called in to see a nurse practitioner who did a brief exam and then had a few tests done with a medical assistant. After 30+ minutes of tests, I finally saw the doctor for about 5 minutes. I had a very difficult time communicating with the receptionists and didn't feel comfortable with the treatment I received there. I had an appointment with the doctor and saw him for just a few minutes. Thank goodness my insurance covered everything, because they billed my insurance thousands of dollars.
He is great. Very helpful, tested me immediately. He has a physical therapy center right there and they are awesome. Appointments are always available. Staff is great. His PA Dr. Braylovsky is amazing and sweet.
very Concerned dr. they respect how you feel and most of all they listen.
I appreciated the warm welcome I received before entering the office. The ladies at the front desk were very professional and personable. I met with the PA, a sonogram tech and the doctor and all were very helpful and thorough. This is what I want in a doctor. An office full of caring people. Thank you.
I dont know if this was luck or a coincidence but this is the BEST doctor visit I have had in my life! I came in and the wait time was less then 2 min. AMAZING!!! The doctor was VERY knowledgeable, he knew all the side effects of my medications and my problem. Quite frankly I was VERY impressed!!! I give this place an A++
He is a great doctor. We only had to wait less than 10minutes. Listened to my mom's problems patiently, then scheduled for EEG for next day since our appointment was for evening. Had the nerve conduction test done the same day. Staff is also friendly. You will be at advanatgar of having everything done at the same place and would not have to go anywhere else. Highly recommend!!
They were flexible when a train schedule change caused me to be late. However, the Dr. provided little explanation of his thought process and spent little time examining me before prescribing an MRI and blood work.
WONDERFUL!!!! extermely friendly staff, i felt very listened to/heard and the treatment plan was explained in detail..not only WHAT was to be done but also WHY steps were necessary!! I saw both the MD as well as the PA and was impressed by both!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Hands down the best doctor I've ever seen. Actually cares about his patients. I'm so grateful to have found him.
Good Dr., listens, tests, diagnoses. Felt very comfortable him. I would see him again for sure.
Very curteous, and thorough. Definitely helpful. Didn't try to rush me out of the door like other doctors. I walked out feeling confident that he will figure out what is wrong with me.
On my this my initial visit, Doctor actually provided in-depth consultation and analyzed my entire health history before prescribing drugs rather than just giving me Neurontin and sending me on my merry way.
Dr. Khelemsky listened well; immediately prescribed therapy etc. to address my issues.
The doctor was very attentive to my needs, and extremely nice and well mannered.I feel that I am now going to get the help that I need because Dr, Khelemsky said so, and I believe him. Thank you Dr. K and ZocDoc!!!!
Felt a bit awkward considering everyone mainly spoke russian, but one seeing the doctor he answered my questions and they gave me the facts well needed. I enjoyed my visit.
Very knowledgeable and straight forward, and he actually listens and responds very well to his patients! Thanks Doc!
Very friendly, thorough and respectful.
He's an amazing doctor, he answered all of my questions and explained everything in detail.
