Originally from Argentina, Dr. Di Carlo received his medical education from the National University of Rosario, in Rosario, Argentina. He completed a residency in obstetrics at Maternidad Martin Maternity Hospital; a residency in gynecology at Emergency Hospital; a residency in general surgery at Italian Hospital—all of which are in Rosario; and a residency in family medicine at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Di Carlo then went on to complete a fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) at the Harvard School of Medicine in Boston, Massachussettes.
With experience in a multitude of medical arenas, Dr. Di Carlo sees and treats patients for a variety of reasons. With his expertise in Family Medicine, Dr. Di Carlo provides his patients with preventative care, tends to chronic or complex conditions as well as dematological concerns, conducts screenings for early signs of serious conditions (such as cancer), and undertakes prescription consultations. He also performs obstetrical and gynecological services, such as pap smears, GYN exams, and infection treatment. As a primary care physician, he strives to build a long- term relationship with his patients and provides them with information and techniques to aid them in controlling their health. No sink in exam room. Not the cleanest place. PA asks 100 questions and then doctor will ask you all the same questions over again (doesn't read the chart).

I despise going to the doctor's office. For many reasons... But I can honestly say today's office visit was tolerable at the worst parts (which there were few of), and pleasant for the most part. And there were even many enjoyable parts! I've never laughed so much at a doctor visit. The entire staff were professional and polite. Friendly. Kind. And the doctor made me feel at ease from the first moments. Even greeted patients in the waiting room. The general examination was very thorough and I felt like the doctor was very attentive and interested in any and all of my physical concerns, even from the most minor complaints. I would highly recommend this doctor and this office to anyone looking for a new doctor. Or to change doctors. I actually look forward to the next visit! :)
