I saw Dr. Mary Cannon and had a wonderful experience; she was very friendly, got me my prescription info with ease, and saw me right away.
I recommend Mark Cannon to anyone who is in the U Village area as they provided me excellent customer service, there is ample parking since it is in the central vicinity of U village, and the exam took less than 30 minutes.

I had a great visit. Everyone was very helpful & friendly. I was seen promptly at my scheduled time and Dr. Cannon had looked up my information ahead of time, which made the visit very efficient. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for an optometrist.

Cannon EyeCare is a family owned business run by two optometrists: doctors Mark & Miranda Cannon. We focus on giving our patients the ability to see everything they need to see clearly and comfortably, but we do so much more than just glasses and contact lenses. The next time your eyes are bothering you or your vision seems a little blurry, come see us and we will make things right.
Market Optical has had an office in University Village, Seattle since 2002. Dr. Mark & Miranda Cannon earned their doctorates in optometry from Indiana University's School of Optometry in 2010 and have worked in the Seattle Metro ever since. Late in 2014 they jumped at the chance to buy the eye clinic inside Market Optical. The optometry practice is still a separate business from the prescription glasses business.
Doctors Mark and Miranda will be in this location for decades to come, and are accepting new patients! They can manage your dry eye, glaucoma, or eye infection. While the practice is not a pediatric specialty practice, these doctors love kids and are happy to work with children who can sit in a chair, reliably respond to questions and read letters... which is typically about age 5 or 6. I thought Dr. Mark Cannon was very thorough, and very patient. He explained what he was doing as well as his findings. He is so kind & personable also. He appeared to be up on all the latest equipment, and I thought the retinal photos were really great. I have a hard time deciding whether or not "this lens is better, or this one," but he made me feel comfortable & not rushed.

Dr. Mark Canon was able to effectively treat my eye pain after multiple doctors had failed to do so. He got me off several medications, proactively tracked my recovery, and went the extra mile to ensure my eye pain and issues were addressed. I would highly recommend Dr. Cannon for any range of eye care services.

Dr. Cannon was amazing. I was having an issue with eye dryness. He did not try to "sell" me on products & I didn't feel rushed, two issues I had run into at an eye clinic off Leary Ave in Ballard. He gave me samples of eye drops that really make a difference & suggested ways I could maintain optical hygeine that were simple and could be woven into my daily schedule. The location is just next to Lucky and Sephora soooo that's always a plus, too :) I am so glad Dr. Cannon & his wife are in Seattle. I'll be "seeing" you next year! (Couldn't help it.)

I've had glasses for the last 20 years and have been to many different chains, independent boutiques, and medical clinics for eye exams. Cannon EyeCare is by far my favorite because of how professional and friendly the doctors are when explaining eye care and the process of getting contacts and glasses. Nice people, great shop, excellent service.
