About Dr. Meagan-Rhose Abanto

Dr. Abanto received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She then attended the New England College of Optometry where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2021 with clinical honors. Following optometry school, Dr. Abanto completed a residency in ocular disease with the Indian Health Service at Zuni Comprehensive Community Health Center in New Mexico. Dr. Abanto's professional interests are in primary care and ocular disease including diabetic eye disease, cataracts, and glaucoma. She is passionate about public health and working with marginalized communities. Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Abanto brings an abundance of clinical expertise in ocular disease management, and primary vision care to Broadway Vision. In her free time, she likes to travel, read, and try new recipes.
