Dr. Gargano, besides being an excellent surgeon, has an excellent “bedside manner” (I was an outpatient). The treatment he gave me was top-notch. He explained what he was going to do, what he was doing as he did it, and patiently answered each of my questions. I never felt that he rushed through my treatment. I cannot recommend him (and his staff) highly enough. I would go back to him if I needed a physician in his specialty again. Finally, his office is close to various bus and subway routes, and finding a cab is easy.

Dr. Francesco Gargano, having been certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, has extensively trained around the world and is committed to healing through individualized care. Dr. Gargano has developed some very strong principles that form the foundation of his daily practice as a plastic surgeon. Dr. Gargano received his medical degree from the Sapienza University of Rome in Italy, graduating magna cum laude. He continued his education at Sapienza University where he earned his Ph.D. in Plastic Surgery, Human Anatomy, and Dermatology, and completed his first residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
His vast experience has taught him that when a person has a positive self-image, it is more likely that he/she will be more engaged in the spectrum of daily activities related to work, parenting, and relationships. Owing to the physical transformation which they undergo, his patients find more joy in putting on a swimsuit and going to the pool, they feel more confident about how they look in and out of clothes, and their relationships are often improved, particularly their intimate relationships, because they feel proud, whole and with lot fewer inhibitions.
