I am seeking to make a difference in someone’s life through their eyes. I am passionate about bringing a meaningful examination to my patient by listening to their needs and giving them the knowledge to better understand their eyes.
Dr. Anna Luo received her doctorate from Southern California College of Optometry and gained extensive clinical experience from Palo Alto Veteran Hospital and Tucson NW Veteran Hospital.
Dr. Anna Luo also received an undergraduate degree in Integrative Biology from University of California, Berkeley.
In her spare time, Dr. Luo enjoys hiking, trying out new arts and crafts (including building miniature houses and beading), and is your resident boba enthusiast.

I strongly advise avoiding this optometry office due to their dishonest practices. Despite requesting a contact exam, I was given a glasses exam instead and my insurance was still charged. My insurance only covers one exam per year. I had to pay out of pocket for a second exam (contact exam) at another optometrist just an hour later. This lack of integrity is truly disappointing. Additionally, while speaking with Dr. Anna Luo, we discussed the brand of contacts I would be receiving and she suggested updating my glasses prescription, which was already known to me. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the front desk clerk, she told me I should have specified which exam I wanted, which was not a reasonable response. As a service provider, they should not be dictating which service is performed. In conclusion, I highly recommend seeking out a different optometry service.

All the staff were nice and kind. I went to get a eyeglass prescription and they explained to me the options that can be added to the glass. She had my insurance coverage information ready so she was able to let me know what options will cost how much more. It was nice they didnt push me to buy the frames at their office. Everything was way over my insurance allowance. The Dr has been one of the most thorough doctor I've ever seen. I will definitely go back but I wish they had frames that cost within my insurance allowance.

This was not the best eye doctor appointment I’ve never had. My appointment was at 1:30pm, so I arrived early at 1:10pm. To be respectful. I was locked outside in the heat. I was melting for about 20mins, before someone opened the door at 1:28pm. They clearly don’t respect your time. I’m usually so happy after I go to the eye doctor. I can usually see perfectly with my new prescriptions. I’ve been back multiple times with her trying to get my new prescription right. I’m not impressed.

Dr. Luo was very efficient and accurate. She caught a mild-moderate macular degeneration that Lenscrafters had missed. She did confirm that the eyeglass prescription of Lenscrafters needed to be changed only a little.
