About Dr. Ruby Sanchez
NEW PATIENTS: We are only accepting visits through VSP Choice/Signature or private pay. Please call our office before booking if you are unsure of your insurance. We can help search for your coverage since vision plans usually do not provide an ID card.
Dr. Ruby Sanchez has been working at Mission Optometry since 2007. Prior to Mission Optometry Dr. Sanchez has been working in the San Francisco and Bay Area. Dr. Sanchez is a native of Northern California
Dr. Ruby Sanchez grew up in Santa Cruz County where at a young age she developed her interest in medical care. Upon graduating high school, she was enrolled to the University of Berkley where she received a Bachelor's degree for Integrative Biology. Afterward, she attended Nova Southeastern University for Optometry School. There she gained an abundance of clinical experience in her rotations where she focused on ocular diseases, glaucoma, and pediatric eye health care. Upon graduating, she practiced for some time in the Santa Cruz County but then decided to move to the Bay Area where she has been practicing at this office since 2007.
Today she takes pride in providing excellent care to her patients and always gives her undivided attention to their needs. She takes the time to educate each of her patients about their eye health and performs specialized exams for detection of ocular diseases.
