About Dr. Ruby Sanchez

Dr. Ruby Sanchez has been working at Mission Optometry since 2006. Prior to Mission Optometry, Dr. Sanchez practiced in the San Francisco and Bay Area. She is a native of Northern California.
Dr. Ruby Sanchez grew up in Santa Cruz County, where she developed an early interest in medical care. After graduating high school, she enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Integrative Biology. She then attended Nova Southeastern University, earning her Doctor of Optometry degree. During her clinical rotations, she gained extensive experience focusing on ocular diseases, glaucoma, and pediatric eye health care. After graduation, she practiced for some time in Santa Cruz County before moving to the Bay Area, where she has been serving patients at this office since 2006.
Today, Dr. Sanchez takes pride in providing excellent care to her patients, always giving her undivided attention to their needs. She takes the time to educate each patient about their eye health and performs specialized exams for the detection of ocular diseases.
