Dr. Cohen is the third doctor I have seen about my blood pressure but the first one who has done any tests. He listens, is easy to talk to, and is willing to work with you. Can't recommend him enough.

Dr. Aaron Cohen is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Yeshiva University in New York City. He went on to earn his Medical Degree at the University Of Miami Miller School Of Medicine, and he completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency training at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
Following residency, Dr. Cohen joined the core faculty of the Internal Medicine program at JFK Medical Center where he served as an Affiliated Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami. In that role, he managed and educated medical students and residents in outpatient primary care and inpatient service, while maintaining his own private patient panel. As Director of Internal Medicine Quality and Safety Graduate Medical Education, he took a special interest in patient safety and quality improvement. Dr. Cohen practices comprehensive primary care, with a focus on prevention and health maintenance.

Dr. Cohen , the nurse and the medical student with him (future Dr. Elsa) were all very personable and thorough in collecting history. Elsa asked all of the right and important questions and did a great job in processing the info and delaying it back to Dr Cohen. I was also able to get my blood work done right away in the office and the nurse did a great job.

Dr Cohen's personality is very dry . I would say his empathy is lacking. I've seen him a few times with adequate care however you feel like just a number at Florida Healthcare Associates with Dr Cohen. I'm hoping to find a new practitioner who I feel really cares about their patients.

Dr. Cohen is one of the most thorough doctors I have ever had. I worked in the medical field for 30 years and I can tell you the medical field would be a lot better place for patients if there were more doctors out there that have Dr. Cohen's standards for caring and bedside manner. On my first visit he set me up to have every test a 50 year old female should have and by him doing the complete blood panel he found an issue that explained why had I been feeling so bad. I had a critically low level on one of my lab tests and he immediately sent me to the specialists I needed and when I have my follow up labs Dr. Cohen always calls me himself if there is anything wrong.... I am so thankful to have found this young man and to have him for my primary care doctor. His office staff is cheerful and make the visit even more pleasant as well.

Dr, Cohen has the best bedside manner. I am having issues with my thyroid and sodium and Dr Cohen has been very through in getting to the bottom of these issues. He is leaving no stone unturned which huge in my book. Dr. Cohen has immediately address's any concerns or problems. Also his office staff is phenomenal they are very caring, personable, and efficient.
