Aaron Mancuso, O.D. was raised in Las Vegas. He Graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas completing his Pre-Professional curriculum with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
He attended Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) and was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Visual Science, followed by his Doctorate of Optometry in 1986.
He completed a residency program at the Portland VA Medical Center in 1987 in Hospital Based Optometry. From 1988 to 1999, He was Facility Director and Co-Director of Education at Southwest Vision Services, Las Vegas, Nevada. He then accepted a position as Executive Director at TLC Laser Eye Centers, Las Vegas.
He is past Adjunct Assistant Professor for SCCO as well as the University of Houston College of Optometry. He holds numerous awards, including the Optometric Recognition Award, which is awarded to those who excel in continuing education requirements. He is also past President and was on the Board of Directors of the Great Western Council of Optometry (GWCO), as well as the Nevada Representative. Dr. Mancuso has participated on the national lecture circuit, lecturing in the areas of Ocular Pharmacology, Ocular Disease, as well as Refractive Surgery.
Outside of Optometry, Dr. Mancuso is married to Shonie Mancuso, and has two teenagers, Dante and Siena Mancuso. In addition, Dr. Mancuso enjoys supporting UNLV Rebel Basketball, playing Guitar, as well as driving and showcasing his 1956 Cadillac Coupe De Ville.

Dr, Mancuso and his staff, Holly, Christy, and especially Sara meticulous on proactively assisting me with every need. Instead of selling their own products or prescribing eye drops to relieve my fragile dry eyes; he instead stocked me with samples. They are so courteous and pleasant that Sara was so apologizing when processing my contacts order. The computer was not cooperating. She must have a few aggravating rushed customers because she went out of her way apologize and make sure I was comfortable. It must have been like 5 minutes but yet she felt sympathetic about the wait and the amount of my contacts bill that she stuffed my baggie with enough contacts solution and deep cleaning solution to last me for a.long time. Her sympathetic personality made me feel like family. They were all so much more methodical in the examination, not where you tell your concerns and heads are nodded or simply stopped in the.middle of your explanation and dismissed without answers for your struggles. Though, Sara is an asset. Refreshing to see staff eager to assist patients rather than acknowledging a human and being on their desk on the phone or computer or talking amongst coworkers too inconvenienced by our presence .
