Dr. Abbas Malik was born and raised in the heart of Kentucky, where his passion for helping others first took root. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Kentucky, where he developed a deep appreciation for the connection between overall health and vision. Inspired by shadowing a local optometrist in his community, he set his sights on a career in eye care. Dr. Malik went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2021 from Kentucky College of Optometry, graduating with honors. During his training, he gained extensive clinical experience in the management of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. Committed to serving those in need, Dr. Malik previously partnered with Remote Area Medical (RAM), offering free eye exams to underprivileged families across Kentucky-a testament to his dedication to accessible and compassionate eye care. Outside the office, Dr. Malik enjoys staying active with long walks and is an avid sports fan. He brings a friendly, down-to-earth approach to every patient interaction and is excited to be part of the Vision Source Tulsa team!
