The medical professional was great, the office space not so great. Lack of space and privacy which didnt bother me too much, but can definitely impact others. Also the medical assistant did not know what he was doing which was a bit scary, he definitely needs more training. (He documented that I was 5'7 when I am only 4'10. - That is a big difference!)

I booked this appointment to get the annual pap smear/gyn exam. I made that clear in the notes to the office. I tried to call before my visit to ensure that this was the proper place. Instead I got a busy signal on the number for the office. I was really adamant in my notes about discussing other options for birth control and hoping to get more insight about an IUD that I have currently. That did not happen.
I came prepared with my patient history from my other GYN and since I have not been for an exam since 2015, I needed to get one right away. I filled out the check-in forms on Zocdoc and at the reception desk, I was being asked some of the questions that I had already taken the time to answer before my appointment.
The appearance of the office was not to my liking, especially for a place that is supposed BE STERILE to perform these exams.
The Dr. office has a large refrigerator in it. (I'm guessing that the staff stores their lunch in that room.) The restroom does not have a proper toilet paper holder, nor a place to put the urine that they request from you. It was not STERILE at all. The offices are very tiny and there is no equipment that is normally used for the ANNUAL PAP SMEAR/GYN EXAM.
I felt like I was ripped off because I had to submit my copay plus an additional amount for using a debit/credit card. That is something that should be listed in the description for this office when booking an appointment here. I was told by the Dr. (who was very cordial and polite) that she does not do anything that has to do with insertion, or implants because that is above her training. Instead, my vitals were taken, I was given a breathing test (for my seasonal asthma, which I did not come there for), had my urine taken, had my blood taken, and sent on my way.
I was told that the Dr. would refer me to someone, but I was not given any information about that referral. I am very upset that I took a day off of work to have my card charged, my day wasted, and my exam not done! In the office, there is a sign that says Female GYN available Wednesday and Friday. I took today to have that done and I am still without results. WARNING: DO NOT BOOK HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO SEE AN GYN.

What a waste of time and money. First of all the sign is literally broken so it was hard to find. Staff is not friend at all. I was so confused why I had to wait about half an hour for an appointment I made, especially when I was the only one there. The doctor didn't even introduce herself, didn't ask my name. Literally saw the doctor for 5 minutes out of the hour that I was there. Didn't ask me if I had any questions. I went in to ask about different birth control options and she never even mentioned it. Not to mention, the office looks horrible. It's not professional at all. As I was getting my blood pressure checked there was a cup of urine right next to me. This was an awful experience. Wouldn't even recommend to my worst enemies. Awful!!

THE RECEPTIONIST WAS RUDE AND UNFRIENDLY. IT TOOK THIRTY MINS FOR TO EVEN CALL ME UP AFTER SHE FINALLY CHECKED MY INSURANCE TO VERIFY ELIGIBILITY. SHE WAS NOT KNOWLEDGABLE WHEN IT CAME TO INSURANCE SHE EXPLAIN TO ME THAT I COULD NOT SEE THE DOCTOR UNLESS I PAY A COPAYS FOR MY INS ( MIND YOU I DONT HAVE COPAYS ). NEVER GOING BACK THERE.

Clean office, no long wait. Only issue is the lack of privacy, there's this room where they do your blood pressure and ask your personal questions. Problem is, the room is a half wall, meaning everyone in the office can hear your answers which violates HIPPA. She's friendly and was quick with pap test.

Avoid this doctor's office! You need to pay a $2 fee if you want to pay your visit fee by cad and if you get any tests done they want you to make another appointment and pay for the visit AGAIN just to discuss what they found! I called and asked for the doctor to tell over the phone, and they refused!

I thought Abby Fashakin was wonderful, professional, and she put me at ease in spite of a couple of things - I hate to say it, but her facilities are pretty awful (very cramped, uncomfortable, and unprofessional-looking), and I think her staff was having a bad day. There was an ongoing argument about some issue with a third party between two of the staff while I was there, and the lady managing the desk didn't do a very good job managing a patient who was becoming disruptive.
