I am a Physician Assistant who graduated from Emory University School of Medicine with a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant studies. I am board certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and am licensed in the state of Texas. I also hold a Master of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. I have extensive experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment where I worked with individuals and groups in inpatient, residential, outpatient, and emergency department settings for seven years. I served in the United States Navy Reserve for eight years. I continued my service to my country by working as a Physician Assistant for the Veterans Health Administration for five years in the primary care and community care service lines. I have a passion for caring for others and ensuring that all aspects of one’s health are addressed. I believe in viewing clients holistically and in focusing on the mind/body connection. My primary focus is the treatment of adults with mood disorders, PTSD, and ADD/ADHD.
