Dr. Malik specializes in serving patients with cardiovascular disease, and he utilizes all modern technology and equipment to bring patients a swift evaluation. In addition to being thorough with patients, he holds the prestigious title of Fellow of American College of Cardiology (FACC). Dr. Malik began his career at Alama Iqbal Medical College, before coming to Brooklyn for both his internship and residency in internal medicine at Interfaith Medical Center. He took his training even further with a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Saint Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, and he stays involved in his field through a number of professional associations, including the American College of Cardiology and Medical Society of the County of Kings. Dr. Malik is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and he holds a certification in Cardiovascular Disease. In his spare time, he loves to read and go for walks. He also loves to travel and discover new, exciting places. Dr. Malik is happy to meet with patients in four different languages, including Spanish, Hindi, and Urdu.

The actual meeting with Dr. Malik was great. He was warm and inviting as other reviewers have described. He was thorough and made sure to help me with any questions I had. The wait time, however was unbearable. I had to wait almost 2 hours just to get the preliminary check up before seeing the doctor. Other people in the office had to wait 3 hours or more. No matter how good the doctor is, it ain't worth it of you got to wait this long. Maybe next time, I will schedule earlier in the day rather than the afternoon

Dr. Malik is compassionate, understanding and open-minded. His Mcdonald Ave location is, however, bustling with activity and the waiting room is disorderly and hectic. Other than the long wait, this practise is highly recommended.

As my first visit I must say, Dr Malik is very knowledgeable and warm about his practice, and his staff of Ladies also have that trickle down affect to make u feel as warm and welcoming, they service me to the best of their ability... Although in life we are not all perfect! I give the entire practice 5 stars! First impression is always the most important to me.

Worth the wait!!! I had an 11.45am appointment but didn't see the doctor until after 1pm. The waiting room was packed........but I can see why! Dr. Malik has an extremely pleasant bedside manner, one like I have never seen with all the doctors I've been to. Very warm, inviting and easy to talk to. I just went for an annual check up but also pointed out a concern I was having. Even though Dr. Malik enlightened me to simple issue that could be the cause of the problem, he still ran test to be sure and put my mind at ease. I loved that since I'm so used to doctors who just brush you off! I've been looking for a primary care physician for a long time and I think I finally found him!.....Even the receptionist was so pleasant, after being so used to paying co-pays with a debit card, I became embarrassed when she told me they only take cash or checks because I didn't have either on me. But my nerves where quickly settled when she told me I could pay at my next appointment. Love this doctor's office! Definitely going back!

I am a new patient, but I plan to stick with Dr. Malik for the long haul. With the exception of the crowded waiting room and the long wait time, I must agree with the patients that I spoke to as I waited. He is a consummate professional and has a wonderful manner. I had my husband with me and he shared all of the information with him readily. He asked many questions in attempts to diagnose the health concerns I was having and shared his concerns for regarding those he had. He came up with a plan that got me right back on my feet. His professional and bedside manner were indeed worth the wait!

His office is really nice, the receptionist are really nice as his assistants are as well. Dr.Malik took the time to listen to all my problems and he is very friendly. I highly recommend him and have. His assistant was really nice. I freaked out during my blood test and she calmed me down and was very patient with me. He's really sweet and friendly.

My experience has been an excellent one, I was given an early appointment to see the doctor and the entire process was made easy by the very helpful and friendly staff.
