As the graduate of the Istanbul University, Dr. Omer MD has completed residency program in Internal Medicine at the St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, MA. Followed by an endocrinology diabetes and metabolism fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester MA. He is certified to perform and interpret thryoid ultrasound and perform ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration biopsy of the thyroid nodules.
Dr. Omer MD is experienced in providing compassionate treatment in chronic situations such as diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease and osteporosis. His goal is to provide excellent care through appropriate medical treatment and close communication, while making sure patients understand the nature of the management in a supportive environment.
