I made my appointment for 11/13 on 10/31 via ZocDoc because in the app they’re listed as pulmonologists. My appointment was set for 9:30 AM. Their staff waited until today (11/12) to call me and confirm my appointment, which they changed to 10 AM without my consent. They then tried to argue the point with me about my appointment time even after I told them that I received two separate confirmations for it via text. She then casually tells me that I can arrive 30 minutes early if I’d like, but that I won’t be seen until after 10 AM anyway because I’d have to take my vitals and get a physical.
When I ask her why I would need a physical when I’m only going to check my lungs with the pulmonologist, she informs me that they don’t have ANY pulmonologists at their practice and that they tried to contact me beforehand to inform me of that. I corrected her and told her that absolutely no one from their office has contacted me until today and the only contact I’ve received about my appointment has been through the texts the app sends.
The sheer disregard for patients at this practice is apparent. How dare you wait until the last minute to contact someone, who made an appointment for a pulmonologist two weeks ago, to let them know that you can’t service them (because who needs to breathe, right?). Knowing that the holiday season is the toughest time to get appointments. I could’ve tried going elsewhere had I been contacted and gotten another appointment elsewhere. Instead they changed my appointment time and type, and didn’t bother reaching out to me. Now I’m stuck trying to find someone for my lungs (hopefully by January) and praying I don’t end up in the ER before then.
Also after telling me that they can’t help me or refer me elsewhere, they had the gall to call me back to confirm that I didn’t want the appointment for tomorrow. THEN proceeded to call me back two more times for I don’t know what reason.
Save yourself time and avoid this practice.

I'm in the process of replacing this Clinic there is some staff that is truly amazing and others that are horrible the wait time is ridiculous
