Dr. Adam Bender received his medical degree at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his residency training in neurology and internal medicine at Columbia University affiliated hospitals. Dr. Bender then did research and completed a fellowship at the National Institutes of Health where he developed a special interest in myasthenia gravis and diseases of nerve and muscle.
Dr. Bender is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a Fellow of the American Neurological Association. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Neurology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, an Associate Attending Neurlogist at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and a Staff Neurologist at the Lenox Hill Hospital.
Dr. Bender diagnoses and treats patients with all neurological conditions involving the brain, spinal cord nerves and muscles.
