He's the Dr you've ALWAYS wanted!!! Nice. Informed. Informative. Patient. Knowledgable. AWESOME guy... The guy receptionist with glasses was so pleasant. Waited at most 10min. Kinda wished it was longer cause there is some cool stuff and brochures of MORE awesome stuff they provide..lol.. Booking my husband as we speak!!!

Adam Carter, MD, FAAD earned his Bachelor of Science in biology and graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA. He then completed his medical school training at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. After graduating, he moved to Austin, TX to fulfill his medical internship at UT Austin. Dr. Carter moved to New York City for his dermatology residency at New York Medical College where he trained in the public hospitals of Manhattan and Brooklyn. He completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at Affiliated Dermatologists and Dermatologic Surgeons in Morristown, NJ.
Dr. Carter is a board certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs surgeon. He specializes in the comprehensive surgical management of skin cancer and completed over 1000 Mohs cases during his fellowship year. Dr. Carter strives to provide the highest quality care for skin cancer with medical and surgical treatments including Mohs and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Carter has published in several medical journals. He is a current member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Medical Association. Dr. Carter takes pride in getting to know his patients and developing individualized treatment plans.
Dr. Carter will primarily do Mohs surgery but will also perform general dermatological surgery and see general dermatology patients as time permits.

Miscommunication on products that need a prescription and don’t. Waiting follow up on questions I’ve asked regarding PRP. Communication outside of phone calls is hard to come by with office.

Very impersonal. No small talk Went quickly to what areas do you have concern, looked at those areas, those me the medical terms for what pimple and spots are called which I don't remember and told me there is no danger in the areas of concern. Waited for about 30 minutes, doctors visit took about 10-15 minutes.

Very friendly staff. I came in very busy on my phone from work and the girl at the front desk was still extremely nice and understanding. I was seen almost right away and every person I came into contact with was wonderful. The doctor himself was also amazing. He was very nice, quick, and to the point. He came up with a plan for my issue right away and we were done! Would recommend him to anyone in search of a dermatologist.

Overall I had a good experience here. The front desk staff was awesome and super friendly--I felt kind of rushed when taken to the back, but it was my first appointment and I didn't really know what to expect. My whole appointment was only 10 mins which was convenient.
I'll probably come here again for my annual skin exams but find another dermatologist/esthetician for skincare needs regarding my face and skin products.
