About Dr. Matthew Ferry
Dr. Matthew Ferry is a residency-trained dermatologist, board eligible by the American Academy of Dermatology. He specializes in both general and surgical dermatology, with a particular interest in complex medical dermatology.
Dr. Ferry earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Ohio State University and his medical degree from the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He was honored as Intern of the Year during his internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He then completed his dermatology residency at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, Florida.
In his personal life, Dr. Ferry enjoys athletics, physical fitness, fishing, and spending time with his wife, Alexis.

Dr. Ferry was just so wonderful, he has a great bedside manner and actively listened to my concerns which made me feel heard. He didn’t rush and addressed all my questions and was thorough. He was so professional and kind making for a great experience. I would highly highly recommend him!!

Office was easy to find. Parking was available. Was greeted when I walked in and given paper work to fill out on iPad. Nurse was very pleasant and took my information. Doctor was in quickly and I felt like he understood what my issues were. Didn’t feel rushed and answered all my questions. Overall a 10/10 experience.

I highly recommend Dr. Ferry and his office. I had never been to a dermatologist before, and every person made me feel listened to and comfortable. Dr. Ferry was running slightly behind but acknowledged that and apologized when he got to my room. He did a head to toe skin cancer screening; he was clear about each of his steps, he checked any spots I was worried about, and when he ended up wanting to take a small biopsy, he explained why and what he’d be doing. He made me for comfortable and though he moved quickly, I felt as though he was very thorough. I will continue driving an hour to his offices- it was worth it.
