Pros: listening thoroughly to my concerns. Didn’t rush through my appointment as I feel a lot of doctors do. Cons: when I politely decline a vaccine, he asked me if I was an “anti-vaxxer” lol. I found it rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful that he labeled me into a stigmatized group for simply declining a shot.

For patient safety, MemorialCare Medical Group providers will not prescribe most controlled substances (including opioids like codeine, and benzodiazepines like valium) for new patients they have only evaluated via telehealth, rather than in person. Many controlled substances have a high potential for abuse, and overdose on controlled substances may result in death. Without an in person visit, the potential risk outweighs the intended benefit. If you believe you may need a prescription for a controlled substance, please schedule an in person visit. Dr. Wass' strong desire to keep the whole family healthy was a big part of why he chose a career in family medicine. His philosophy is to treat the whole person, physically and emotionally, not just the ailments and symptoms. He is always grateful for the opportunity to oversee his patient's general well-being as well as guide and support them through a sometimes difficult journey of recovery. Dr. Wass is board certified in family medicine and as a former high school and college athlete, has a special interest in sports medicine. Dr. Wass is continuing to learn a whole new perspective on life and health from his four children. He also enjoys following soccer domestically and abroad, fine dining and when possible sleeping.

Appointment was a disaster from the start. Staff wouldn’t allow me into the building without a mask on. However, I explained to them that I have a medical condition which prevents me from wearing a mask and they did not listen. I was then forced to go to my appointment while wearing a mask while I struggled to breathe, was lightheaded, and dizzy. I explained to my doctor my medical condition and provided him documentation from the hospital, surgeries, surgeons, and a phycologist. Despite this, Dr. Adam Wass refused to acknowledge my medical condition even though there was an overwhelming amount of evidence to suggest contrary. If most patients are treated how I was, I would definitely recommend to stay away from this office and to never book an appointment with Dr. Adam Wass.
