She decided to adopt a vegetarian diet, and her mother insisted she start reading more about nutrition so that she could be sure her diet was well-balanced. She was instantly fascinated by how much there was to understand about nutrition and how much it affects our overall health. Her interest and respect for the field has only grown over the years. Adrienne believes that eating well should not be complicated or stressful. Her goal is always to help patients achieve better health while improving their relationship with food. I work to provide patients with the tools and information they need to succeed while also feeling empowered to develop their own strategies for better health. Adrienne always looks for creative and personalized solutions. Nutrition counseling should not be one-size-fits-all! Her specialties include pediatrics (including infant feeding, picky eating, and management of genetic conditions), food allergy management, nutrition for heart health, diabetes, weight management, and pre and post-natal nutrition. Adrienne believes very strongly that nutrition counseling should be accessible to everyone. Her counseling style is collaborative and empathetic, while firmly based in science. She enjoys helping patients think outside the box and discover strategies that are sustainable and fit their unique needs. Adrienne graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University and earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. She completed her dietetic internship program at CUNY Hunter College. Adrienne enjoys spending time with her daughter and basset hound when she is not working. Her favorite hobbies include cooking, crossword puzzles, running, and reading.
