My experiences with Dr. Summers have been extremely positive. I did have a bit of a wait during my first visit (about 25 minutes) despite arriving early, but I have never had a doctor who spent so much time getting to know me and my personal medical history. Dr. Summers sat with me for about 15-20 minutes just to discuss my concerns and form a solid plan of action moving forward. Her staff are also extremely attentive and go out of their way to provide you with helpful information and answer any, ANY questions you may have. I was particularly impressed with the amount and quality of concrete solutions she offered for my particular health concerns. I highly recommend.

Dr. Summers is a graduate of the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and completed her residency in family medicine at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, N.C. In addition, she holds a Master of Public Health degree from Emory University’s prestigious Rollins School of Public Health.
Prior to joining Atlanta Medical Center, Dr. Summers was employed as an urgent care physician with Carolina Quick Care, after serving as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager with entities in Georgia, Louisiana and North Carolina.
