Aesha Patel, MD attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, graduating with her medical degree in 2014. Post medical school, Dr. Patel completed her Internal Medicine Residency in 2017 at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia – where she also finished her medical training with a Fellowship program in 2021. Dr. Patel chose medicine because of her desire to help others and make a positive impact on people’s lives. She is most passionate about caring for her patients, helping them improve their health, and getting to know them on a personal level so they feel comfortable in her care. Dr. Patel enjoys educating her patients about their own treatment plans, encouraging them through their small victories, and empowering them to live a healthy life. She is highly interested in Endocrine disorders, especially in pregnancy, and thyroid cancer. Dr. Patel is fluent in both English and Gujarati and is board-certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the Endocrine Society, and the American Medical Association. In her free time, she loves spending with family, hiking, and indulging in fiction books.
