The visit itself was good however I was a little disappointed that I tried to save time by completing the paperwork online. Unfortunately, I had to complete the paperwork again in the office because they couldn't locate it on this Zocdoc site.

Dr. Ata was thorough, but seemed to heavily rely on medical tests rather than doing a physical exam and patient history. I came to him with a well documented condition from my previous neurologists (10 years) and was looking to continue my current course of treatment which has been working very well. My previous neurologist was no longer covered by my insurance, so I had to find a new one. He was willing to accept my diagnosis, but still wanted to run lots of unnecessary medical tests despite the fact that I was not having any negative side effects with my current treatment and that my condition was under control.

The doctor was okay, but the staff is absolutely horrible. Here are some incidents:
* For two appointments, they forgot to gather medical information from other medical providers.
* The wait time for my first appointment was almost 2 hours.
* Issues with scheduling follow up appointments, even after double checking with the staff beforehand.
* They referred me to a different doctor, who I did not hear from for over a month until I asked for the referred doctor's number and contacted them myself.
* They forgot to send in a perscription. It took about two calls and a month for my pharmacy to receive the perscription.
* Multiple issues with billing where they could not figure out how much I owed.
The staff is friendly, but very unprofessional. They did not hide the fact that they were very stressed. Lots of sighing and displays of frustration. Once they placed me on hold but forgot to mute, and I heard their staff member yell at somebody else.

Dr. Ata & his whole staff are amazing each & everyone of them are personable & make me feel comfortable at all of my visits. I would highly recommend anyone to this office. He has helped me with my migraines when no one else could.
