Dr. Shokry has an excellent bedside manner and either an excellent memory or charting skills that allowed him to quickly recall and address issues that I had brought up in my prior annual check-up. I would highly recommend him as a primary care physician.

I booked a PCP appointment with Dr. Shokry, and didn't realize he was a NYP provider, but fortunately his location is at a clinic at the corner of 3rd st. and 4th ave, and is not an actual hospital setting.
Dr. Shokry was patient, listened well, and then set me up for labwork and an EKG, which they did at the facility. The nurse staff was similarly friendly and helpful.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Shokry.

I came in for a routine health checkup.
The office staff at the 6th avenue location are rude and failed to make sure the appropriate blood work was done during my visit. This office will frequently send lab work to locations that may not be covered by your insurance. I've had to come in multiple times for the same simple task, reminding the staff of the reason for my visit.
Shokry himself is competent and conducts thorough checkup, but those around him are not providing a good experience for their patients. I'll be searching for a new PCP soon.

What I liked most was the professionalism from check in to my way out the door. Dr. Shokry saw me on time, AMAZING! Examined me, order blood work, gave me a referral for ex-rays and gave me a referral to visit my Pulmonary Dr. all in one visit. He's a no waist time professional. Took his time to explain my condition to me and answered all my question's. Also suggested for a follow up in 30 days, to go over everything with me. I forgot to mention this was my first visit with Dr. Shokry and I'm a happy :-) customer!

Dr. Shokry is great. Informative and thorough, he is always able to answer questions and delivers a high level of quality care. I always feel like he has thoroughly assessed my problem when I leave his office, and feel informed about my situation. The wait time in the front office can be a little long, never more than 20 or 30 minutes, but I think they are working on improving that. Still definitely worth it for me to come see him though. He’ll get your issue addressed!
