Dr. Ajay Kwatra is committed to his patient’s urology health. He respects the personal dignity of each of his patients while holding each test and procedure to the highest of medical standards. Dr. Kwatra also strives to take care of all of his patients in a timely manner because your time is valuable.
Dr. Kwatra has lived in Texas since 1980. His father is an Internal medicine physician and still practices in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. Dr. Kwatra grew up in Hurst, Tx a suburb of Dallas. He then attended Rice University as a National Merit Scholar and graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked as an engineer but decided that he missed the personal interaction and a chance to help people that a career in medicine offers. He then attended medical school at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. After medical school he did his residency in Urology at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He has been practicing in the Woodlands and Conroe area since 1999.
Dr. Kwatra is married to Dr. Faye Johnson who is a medical oncologist at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. They have two children and reside in The Woodlands. Other than his busy practice and two young children, Dr. Kwatra enjoys playing golf and traveling.

I went in for a vasectomy, and was never given instructions or what to expect. I waited for 5 hours, for something that should have taken 20 min. I had not eaten since the night before. I get headaches for this. Doctor was late, never apologized, and even cracked a joke about him having a sandwich for me. Never again.
