They made the appointment so I didn’t have to go to the office I wasn’t exposed to anybody with Covid I was in the comfort of my own home with a set appointment time Dr. Pandy was a good listener and helped me tremendously! Dr. Ajay Kumar Pandey is currently working as a Neurologist in South Miami, where he sees a wide variety of patients with different neurological disorders including, but not limited to, Migraine & Headache syndromes, Spine disorders, Dizziness/Vertigo, Head injury, Attention Deficit Disorder, Stroke/TIA/Aneurysm, Dementia, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Seizures/Epilepsy, Syncope, Muscle disorders, Gait & Balance disorder, Carpal Tunnel syndrome, Sciatica, Brain & Spine tumour, Bell's palsy, Neuropathy/Neuralgia, Fibromyalgia, and Chronic pain.
He completed his medical school (M.B.B.S) at Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College in India, followed by residencies in General Surgery (M.S) and Neurosurgery (M.Ch). Additionally, he was awarded a degree in Neurosurgery by the Diplomate of National Board in India.
In 2005, he moved to the United States to continue his education, passing the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) in 2007. He completed a neurosurgical fellowship in spine surgery and later a neurological fellowship in movement disorders at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami. His one-year Internal Medicine internship (2009-2010) was at Brookdale University Hospital & Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He then completed his three-year Neurology residency program at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
As a clinician, Dr. Pandey is also interested in teaching neurology to medical students and in research. He is fluent in English and Hindi and has a good working knowledge of several other languages including Gujarati, Marathi, and Urdu. He has privileges at South Miami Hospital of Baptist Healthcare. Dr. Pandey sees patients both in person and via Telemedicine. Saturdays are exclusively reserved for Telehealth visits, and on some Fridays, he is also available at the Doral office location.

Dr. Pandey listened carefully to my concerns and located the root of the problem. I had visited other doctors months before seeing Dr. Pandey and prior doctors sent me home saying my problem was due to stress - when in reality surgery was needed to remove a mass on my brain.- I cannot thank Dr. Pandey enough. He reviewed my results and provided a diagnosis over the phone as soon as the MRI technician reported to him the abnormality. Dr. Pandey offered my husband and I his cell phone number to call him anytime on our way to the hospital. And he told us anyone at the hospital could call him at his cell when it was Friday after 9 PM.
Professional, knowledgeable, kind, and accurate, he is an exceptional one of a kind doctor.

I really appreciate the time he took with me. I didn't feel rushed, he listened to everything going on (which is rare, sadly), he asked if I had any questions and answered all of them. He was very polight and didn't make me feel like I was crazy, needy, or annoying like I have felt during other visits I've had this month. He also asked me to send results in / wanted me to follow up with him even on tests related to non neuro symptoms (GI). He put me at ease which is a very good feeling when your brain doesn't feel like it is functioning as it should. I really appreciate you Dr. Pandey - thank you so much!
