I love the dr and his assistant, but having to wait over two hours for a follow up appointment is unacceptable.
Excellent! Besides the long wait time, the staff was very good, the doctor was friendly and he quickly and carefully described the issues and the proposed treatment.
The doctor is perfect. but the office staff they are not good they keep me waiting for before and after the app.
Was pleased with his bedside manner once we were seen.
Very professional and knowledgeable.
Dr Rechter was very nice and helpful bit i loterqlly waited almost two hrs before i was seen and it was becuase he wasnt even at the office yet. I asked what the wait was about and the nirses said i was next which wasnt true, he just hadnt arrived yet. I would have been much happier if they had been honest and appolgized for the wait time and simply said, the doctor hasnt arrived yet and we will let you know as soon as he does.
Doctor Rechter was straight to the point, explained the problem in details. Overall I liked the way the information was provided and how the different options were explained.
Honest and professional. Not typical Orthopedic Surgeon. (Doesnt just want to perform surgery).
Direct, professional, and easy to understand. Very satisfied with all staff we interacted with.
The waiting time is terrible and the diagnostic from the doctor was not satisfactory, not accurate.. He was not very profesional.. I still have the pain in my hand and looking for another Doctor.
He has the absolute best bedside manner! Very friendly and knowledgeable! I would highly recommend him!
Dr Rector is the best. He has taken care of some major issues for me and I couldn't be more proud of him
Dr. Rechter was very personable. It was my first time to see him and he answered my questions, gave me options and made me feel at ease. His PA was also very professionaly and kind. She gave me additional information that also helped.
Appointment itself was great -- wait of over an hour was unacceptable.
Very professional and personable. He talked to me not at me. I left feeling very satisfied my problem was taken care of.
It was nice .Sajestate option treaments.
Good as always.
Doctor is awesome. Listened to my concerns and didn't make me feel like it was in my head. (My last doctor did that.) His office staff are personable and very knowledgeable. Great visit.
my visit with dr rechter today was as good as i could expect for just having surgery. his entire staff is super friendly, ant the treasure trunk is the best (after all, we are all kids at heart)!
Waiting time was too long.....
The woman working check-in was not welcoming nor friendly. I overheard her interactions with other patients and my experience was repeated with others. I understand she is busy and handling multiple tasks simultaneously, but a smile and a friendly demeanor would go a long way.
Did not see him, but saw his PA - which she is absolutely terrific!!!!
Dr. Rechter and his staff are extremely professional and friendly. He has a great bedside manner, explains your situation clearly and fully, and tries all treatments before surgery is recommended. Would not trust any other doctor with my orthopedic needs, only Dr. Rechter.
One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Would never recommend this office or doctor.
This Office and staff are the greatest. The time in the waiting room was short. I would highly recommend this Doctor. Very professional!!!!!
I didn't get the name of the Dr who saw me. She was so nice. My appt was at 10. I waited maybe 10 minutes and was checking out less than 10 minutes later. Very pleased.
Personable; willing to answer questions and very approachable. Speaks very quickly so must ask him to slow down.
best orthopedic surgeon around
I was seen by the PA for a routine shot in the knee. She is very thorough & professional, and answered all of my questions.
wonderful doctor. just had surgery and the entire staff was on top of everything and most concerned about my recovery.
As always, Dr. Rechter and his associates are very kind, caring, and professional. I have been seeing him for a number of years.
Dr Rechter is great and personable!
Visit was very good, Dr. Rechter listened, offered advice and instruction. I appreciate his help.
The personnel were very good and the wait wasn't too long and the Dr. was very courteous and knowledgeable...Over all I give it a 9
Very friendly staff! Got in and out in a timely manner.
I am an OR nurse who has worked with Dr. Rechter for over 15 years as well as being his patient. I know the integrity Dr Rechter exhibits with his patients. He is an physician/surgeon that you can trust not to do unnecessary procedures and is "extremely" knowledgeable in his field. He also is extremely talented in his ability to perform solid, safe, patient centered surgery. What I can say as a nurse who has worked with him for a long time is that he loves what he does. That goes a long way.
Saw his assistant which was fine for a shot. I actually thought she seemed less rushed.
My request to see a picture of FB excised from right index finger was met. Post op visit was informative and very satisfactory.
I have been with Dr. Rechter for many years. I started with him when I lived in Katy Texas and I was really glad that when I moved into Houston Texas that he had an office here as well. His PA Marlene is a joy to work with. I will continue to be with Dr. Rechter and his office For all my orthopedic needs.
They truly do want to see you get better and will go over any and all options available to ensure you are back up and doing what you love as soon as physically possible. I thank them for that.
As a past patient of Dr. Rechter, he performed successful surgery for me in 2009, and continues to demonstrate quality care and diagnosis. I will continue to look to him for consultation with my orthopaedic needs.
Dr Rechter is very knowledgeable and explains problems clearly and in detail. He has a nervous personality but related great to my teenage boy and took his time with the visit. We both really liked him.
I have put off going to the doctor for my knee injury for over a year, and he and his staff did an excellent job of making sure everything was covered in whatever was going on in there. After a short wait filling out necessary paperwork, I was given an X-ray and we discussed further with more examinations. I am confident the treatment will make an improvement comparatively and am eager to see how my knee is in a few days once medicine kicks in. Everyone I encountered was extremely kind and knowledgeable about my issue. I am glad I found him and this office.
Very friendly and knowledgeable but felt very rushed
I have been a patient of Dr. Rechter for 10 years and I have always received the best of care. Would recommend him 100%.
I had broken my wrist Saturday before Christmas. Close friends recommended Dr. Rechter. I went on ZocDoc and saw that Dr. Rechter was available Monday morning and booked the appointment. He was very nice and knowledgeable. I will recommend him to others.
A wise doctor. Would recommend to everyone. Regards,
Dr. Rechter is amazing. He has scoped both of my knees and partially replaced one. He is conservative in his treatment though and uses surgery as a last resort. Excellent bedside manner and happy to answer any and all questions you have.... in such a way that a non-medical background can understand! Love him!
Yes, waiting room times can be on the high end, but Dr. Rechter is the best & well worth it--and so are the rest of his staff. I recommend booking as early as possible in the AM to cut down on the wait. My surgery went well, and his office was always happy to continue to answer questions long past my initial healing period. Great doc!
Dr. Rechter answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. He was receptive to my feedback and responsive to my needs. His office staff is professional, friendly, and efficient.
I was given almost immediate appointment when advised of the emergency situation with my right leg thanks to a very efficient office staff. Doctor Rechter is very professional and set in motion immediate steps to deal with my condition.
I appreciated the knowledge Dr. Rechter had about my condition and the treatment plan he provided for me; however, the office staff was not very friendly and seemed overly stressed with their workload. It felt like a bit of a "stockyard" there trying to funnel everyone through their appointments. I also felt very rushed in my appointment, and between the wait time in the reception room and my actual appointment, it took me almost two hours to get out of there. Not acceptable...
This is a routine check-up I receive from this particular physician, and being that we have become familiar with each other, everything is always as expected. Keep up the good work Dr. Rechter, Marlene, and reception staff.
Could not have been better!
Always professional, friendly and educational. Answers all questions in detail.
