Hello! I am originally from Kodiak, Alaska and have been in Portland for the last 6 years. I graduated from NUNM in 2015, and have been focusing on alternative pain management, transgender health, and body positive holistic care since then. I chose Naturopathy after experiencing alienating and compartmentalized healthcare, which sparked my interest in medicine that focused on the whole person. I’ve always been family oriented, animals make me ridiculously happy. I live with my brother, Ryan, who does massage here, and my partner- who is studying to be an acupuncturist. We have two doe-eyed dogs, I quilt when I can, appreciate rural charm, and spend time in the woods whenever possible.

Dr. Barson has worked with me for almost a year now and she had been amazing. She goes out of her way to help me alleviate my pain and treats every part of my health to manage my pain.
