Dr. Giagnacova was fellowship trained at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine Ankle and Footcare Centers/Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He specialized Functional Reconstructive and Diabetic Limb Salvage. He is one of twenty fellowship trained Podiatrist in Pennsylvania. He graduated from Ursinus College and Temple University. He grew up in the Delaware Valley.
He is a member of several associations including: The American Podiatric Medical Association, and He is on American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Committees which governs 17,000 surgeons . Dr. Giagnacova had lectured all across the United States, on various Foot and Ankle topics. He has also co wrote many academics papers and in very involved in Medical research and TeleMedicine movement.
Dr. Giagnacova was named Clinician of the Year by the Heritage Valley Health System Podiatry Residency Program in 2011. And his work was published in the Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Giagnacova treats pediatric and adult patients for various conditions including: dermatologic issues of foot and ankle, foot pain, sport injuries involving the foot and ankle, bone, tendon, and nerve issues, diabetic wounds, bunions, arthritis, leg injuries, and foot and ankle infections. I am not one to leave bad reviews and will not go into my experience on this review, but I would never go back. I was beyond uncomfortable from the moment I got there except for his very friendly receptionist. I'm in the medical field and observed things that I believe were not up to proper safety precautions so I walked out 1/2 way through my appt b/c I did not want him to treat me.

Dr. Giagnacova was right to the point which is fine with me. No frills, no chaser, straight! He worked on my foot and although the procedure was uncomfortable, my feet are brand new. I'm wearing shoes I haven't worn in months. I'll be back in Sept!

Looking at the building from the outside made me skeptical at first,but once inside he and his assistant Kim were nothing short of incredible in their professionalism and courtesy.They were thorough in addressing ALL my concerns and I was confident about the course of action suggested for treatment. A medical professional in the truest sense. I was suffering from mystery discomfort in my right ankle which limited my usual activity level & had been showing a noticeable limp for longer than a typical sprain. Dr. Albert ordered comprehensive x-rays to pin point the source of the discomfort; and upon visiting with him to review the images, he pointed out the detail that explained the discomfort and we took necessary action to remedy my concern. I really thought it was going to be a stress fracture or something needing surgery, but to my relief wasn't as bad as I had feared. All in all, was a very good choice for the medical attention I needed & he came through a recommendation. Word of mouth - rules!

Upon completing my history I was immediately seen by Dr Giagnacova who did a thorough exam and took the time to explain treatment options to me in language I could understand.

I had made an appointment with Dr. Giagnacova's office for a bone density test which was listed online as one of the services they offered. When I arrived there, the 2 receptionists had no idea what a dexascan was, and I was told that they didn't provide that service. I informed them that it was listed on their site. They were completely unaware of that. Also, I had filled out my patient forms online, but when I got to the office, I was told that they didn't get them so I had to fill them out again. My appt. was for 9:00, but I was told that the doctor was doing his rounds in the hospital, so he wouldn't be there for a while. He ended up coming in his office at about 9:35. Totally unacceptable visit. He said he had no idea that his site even listed dexa scanning.

The doctor is great. He is friendly, knowledgable and efficient. Apparently I went on a day when the doctor's normally office staff was out and the temps were very rude and unprofessional. However, the doctor was excellent and that is why I will be going back. I hope the staff improves, but a good doctor is hard to find so if I have to ignore a rude receptionist, who cares?

Dr Giagnacova is an amazing and thoughtful man. Very thorough in his preparation to remove my two big toenails, which were infected with fungus for over a decade! I am so glad that I finally had this procedure done, and by a very experienced doctor. The little bit of pain that I felt was only at first with the novacane needles, but the procedure was pain-free. The assistant nurse, Kelly, was also very nice and helpful. If you are looking for a top-notch foot doctor to take care of you, look no further.
