Best dermatologist in town. I go to Dr Lefkovits for Botox and fillers. I always look like myself, yet refreshed and radiant. The whole staff is incredibly professional and welcoming and each visit is a pleasure. I cannot recommend Dr Lefkovits enough, truly.

Dr. Lefkovits is Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and is Co-Director of the Mount Sinai Dermatological Cosmetic Surgery Program. He is also on the Medical Editorial Advisory Board of “Healthy Aging”, a member of the national educational faculty for Botox® and is member of the Medical Advisory Council of The Skin Cancer Foundation. A past president of the Dermatology Society of Greater New York, he has lectured at many national and international meetings on Botox®. He is known for his pioneer work with skin cancer detection and treatment as well as for his work with Restylane®, Juvederm®, and laser surgery. Dr. Lefkovits is listed in Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World. His society memberships include the Harvey Society and the Royal Society of Medicine.He is a Member of the Melanoma and Skin Cancer Committee of the American Academy of Dermatology

Earlier this year, I lost a thumbprint size amount of hair from my scalp. I was in shock. Granted, I have a thick mane. I realize I was under lots of stress and could grimace over losing random strands through out. My hair grows quickly. I am blessed. With no signs of the hairless patch growing back after 3 months, it occured to me to visit dear Dr. Lefkovitz. Kind man, he was feeling for me. He ordered a few blood tests to rule out possible factors. "Yikes! But, yes please." He recommended "Let us find out what is causing this immediately in case it is something we can manage or control." In the meantime, he sent me away with a couple topical remedies and asked I follow up in two weeks if there was no change. My test results indicated all normal. However, I was extremely happy Dr. Lefkovitz began treating the area topically. At the onset of my 2nd week after my visit, I began to feel a bit of peach fuzz in the area. Difficult to tell as I have premature gray hair and saw no visual difference. So I waited a third week. Behold, my hair was growing back. The bald patch has strands between 3/4" and 1" long. I was still stressed beyond as it was growing back, yet that was one less concern on my mind. So, "Thank you, Dr. Lefkovitz. I appreciate your knowledge and genuine concern."

Dr. Lefkovits has been treating me for injuries from a robbery/assault last summer. He and his staff have been extremely compassionate, and concerned with helping me heal to move on. I have almost no visible scarring from six facial stitches, and sessions with the n light have faded marks from numerous cuts and abrasions with remarkable speed. I would recommend this practice for any and all dermatological needs.
