Great office setting, wonderful staff, very professional and efficient. Probably the fastest in and out eye appointment I've ever had, but it was thorough and we covered absolutely everything.

Dr. Munn received his undergraduate training in chemistry and his M.D. at UNC Chapel Hill, after which he completed a residency in Internal Medicine at New Hanover Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, North Carolina. From 1986 to 1989, he was an ophthalmology resident at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and in 1989 came back to North Carolina where he practiced with Raleigh Ophthalmology and Surgical Eye Associates. He established the Wake Medical Center Ophthalmology Clinic in 1992. In 1995, he established Capital Eye Center.

Today was my first appointment ever with Dr. Munn's office and I was very impressed. Online paperwork was very easy to submit which then allowed for easy check in. Tech was very nice and explained everything she was doing. Dr. Munn was very kind and took his time during my appointment. He wasn't in a rush and answered any questions I had. Very excited to find a new eye dr's office to stay with.

I received a confirmation call the day before my appointment. The staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Munn was very professional and kept things pleasant with little jokes here and there. I felt like I had to interject about what I wanted/needed or else the appointment was going to be on auto-pilot. That might be great for some people, but just make sure to let him know what you want! I would recommend this doctor to others.

Really like the doctor but the staff has issues. I asked to get the price for a year of contact lenses and they said it would be the exact amount I had an allowance for. Perfect! Then when I received them it was only a 6 month supply and they are telling me that's all I ordered. Well I would have gone elsewhere for contacts to get a year supply had I known I was only getting 6 months worth. They also won't take them back because I had to use one and they won't even acknowledge that they made a mistake. You also have to pick up contacts at the office, they don't ship them to your house for free. So now I have to go back to return one box for a partial refund so I can buy them for a reasonable price elsewhere. DO NOT BUY CONTACTS FROM THEM EVER!
