Making the correct diagnosis and providing advanced treatment options, such as minimally invasive surgery (MIS), have made Dr. Reff a leading authority in orthpaedic surgery both in the medical community and in the eyes of his patients. Dr. Reff is also very highly respected in the medical community for his surgical skill and less invasive solutions to bone and joint pain.
Hip and knee replacement, osteoarthitis of the hip, knee and shoulder, hip and knee injuries, shoulder, hip and knee fractures, and sports medicine are areas of expertise for Dr. Reff. Joint surgery using video arthroscopic and joint replacement surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) and 30 years experience as a surgeon, place Dr. Reff on the leading edge of orthopaedic treatment. Respected in both the local and medical community, Dr. Reff is known for his meticulous surgical skill.
His postgraduate fellowship in joint replacement and arthritis reconstructive surgery were completed at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, preceeded by an internship and residency training in orthopaedic surgery completed at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Reff's initial medical training was at Columbia University and New York University School of Medicine.
Dr. Reff also served as Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff of South Bay Medical Center, and is currently on staff at Little Company of Mary Hospital and Torrance Memorial Hospital.
