I highly recommend Dr. Prahmus. He explains everything to you so you can understand. My husband had emergency appendix surgery with infection and I needed clarification on something's and he was there to answer for me with the answers. He totally stopped me from me having a major anxiety attack. At his follow up appointment Dr. Prahmus even asked me if what he told me helped. Yes he did. Thank you again for being there for us.

He made me feel at ease from the very beginning, and really listened to what my issues and history were. The check-in was prompt and, I loved that I could get my bloodwork done right in the office at the same time as the appointment.

Finally, a doctor who listens and doesn't judge by age and actually gets to know his patients! If he wasn't sure about a subject, he made sure he educated himself further on the topic and by the next visit had a solution or was able to point me to another doctor to help me. Saved my life when the hospitals wouldn't listen when I was coughing blood clots. I'm a very complicated patient and he always takes the time to get me the help I need instead of brushing me off. I truly appreciate Dr. Pramhus more than words can express.

Dr. Alec Pramhus, MD is a part of a dying breed of "Family Doctors" with all the qualities that go with it's definition. Normal "primary care physician's" are a dime-a-dozen and I don't see what their rule is in the medical community.
Dr. Pramhus is an asset to his profession. He makes you feel important as an individual, listens, and truly cares about you and your health. Most importantly he is humble about it.
I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a "family physician" and is tired of today's normal primary care doctor.

I have been looking for a down-to-earth (humble) but intelligent and efficient primary doctor (family) for over 10 years. They barely exist anymore.
Dr. Pramhus is the opposite. He is a Real Family Doctor!!
It took me ten years to finally find one again. Trust me... I know doctors ... I have been to over 1,500 in my life. A doctor every 10 days on average for over 30 years.
Dr. Pramhus takes the time to talk and get to know you. He is pleasant, has a great personality, non-judgmental, and very knowledgeable and intelligent. . He has all the traits a real family doctor should have in the medical profession.
It is an honor to have him as my primary doctor. I would recommend him to anyone.
