I was there for a whole 3 hours and 30 mins.. Every time they called me in they made me wait even longer in the chair just to come in for 2 mins and send me back out for another hour. I wouldn't recommend this doctor because they take entirely too long! I didn't even come here for my follow up spot that was today. I'll make another appt else where.

She's very thorough and listened to what I had to say. She correctly diagnosed my need for a laser treatment 3 years after cataract surgery, something I knew nothing about. I've already recommended her to my family.

I was pleasantly surprised whit the quick in-and-out time compared to other doctors I've been recently to. The staff was very courteous and efficient.
Dr. Piniella Took the time to explain my condition with great detail and answer all the questions I had.

I have had corneal transplant in both eyes, so the skill of my ophthalmologist is extremely important. I know that Dr. Piniella trained at Bascom Palmer (where I had my first transplant), so her credentials are as good as they get. She has been practicing for about 20 years, so she is also extremely experienced in surgery.
She is very knowledgeable, her staff very competent and friendly. Wait time is below average for an ophthalmologist (I have been in a lot of offices, and the specialization seems to require time--dilating eys, etc. There are times when I have spent 2-4 hours in an office. Not at all so here!
I highly recommend Dr. Piniella!

I really think that dr piniella is really professional, but the time that I waited was too long, my appointment was at 3 o clock and they were more than 1 hour preparing everything and it was tedious, but the doctor is really good

We had an appointment at 9.30am, the doctor's assistant was the one who proceed to the entire exam for my son (She was nice by the way but with a limited english). Once she was done she asked us to sit in the waiting room for the doctor to see us. At 11.am we asked for the doctor... to discover she wasn't there yet!
Be aware if you are about to book an appointment with this doctor via ZocDoc, that this doctor is NEVER in the office before 11.30am.
Once there this doctor did nothing more than sign the prescription for my son to have new glasses.

Totally positive experience. They were able to see me on very short notice, literally within hours of me making the appointment. It is so nice to see a doctor that takes time to see patients in need of care on an expedited basis.

Seemed like a great doctor but it took me 3 hours to complete the full appointment. The staff was a little hard to deal with. One nurse was handling older patients and she didn't speak english very well. She was hard to work with. When the doctor was able to finally see me, I was pleasantly surprised. The doctor knows what she's doing but her staff is not the best and the wait time was TERRIBLE.
