Super great care! The office staff is friendly and my orders were taken care of immediately after the appointment. Good amount of appointment reminders with easy telehealth instructions. Only reason I’m not staying in her care is because she doesn’t specialize in the mental health services I’m seeking. HOWEVER this office is a good option for neurodivergent patients to take care of basic mental health needs and other appropriate ailments. Really good listener who is honest about the care she’s providing.

Alena A Sarabia is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her career as a Registered Nurse working in every unit within the hospital setting including the Emergency Room. Alena then pursed her Master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. In her first role as a Nurse Practitioner she worked within a rural population treating a variety of chronic and acute illnesses.
Alena is a native Houstonian who enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, Oliver and Olivia. She also enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and, trying new recipes to cook.

I booked my appointment for weight loss
consultation. before getting any information or ask about anything concerning me she said “ I don’t write medicine for weight loss .( Wants to end the appointment with zero benefit , it took less than a minute ) . It seems that she is not in a good mood which is her responsibility not me . Ugly attitude .

My appointment was a 3 and they took about 40 minutes to see me, I didn’t mind the waiting but the fact that they didn’t give an estimated time was ridiculous. Receptionist weren’t nice and let’s not talk about the nurse that helped me, very rude, seemed like she didn’t want to be there at all. I get it, we’re humans and get tired but being plain rude for no reason cmon

She was very nice, but was listed in search for Psychiatric medication consultation, even though not a Psychiatrist. She told me she couldn’t prescribe the anxiety medication I needed, but did offer to increase my dosage for the medication I have been taking that hasn’t helped. She said she would prescribe something for sleep. The different dosage of the medication I already have was sent to pharmacy, but not the sleep med. i called the office and left a voicemail which hasn’t been answered.

My visit went well! It was the first time I had done a virtual visit, so I was a bit nervous. But her bedside manner was great! She was listened to my issues and allowed me to explain in detail what I felt. I really appreciated that, because physicians usually don’t do that part very well.
