This was my first visit with Dr. Tran and I plan on making him my new primary care doctor. He listens to your inputs, offers other thoughts and approaches, and he patiently explains everything to you in "normal" english rather than complex medical terms. Great patient care focus!

Alex L. Tran, MD attended medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his internship for Internal Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles and his residency for Family Medicine at the University of Southern California. Dr. Tran enjoys treating the broad spectrum of health issues encountered in the practice of his specialty, Family Medicine. At the same time, he takes special interest in the treatment of diabetes, obesity, and skin disorders.
Dr. Tran educates and involves patients in understanding the nature of their illnesses and treatment options; patients must play an active role in the decision making process. The reason why I chose Dr. Tran as my PCP was for the great reviews. This was a little over a year ago and although I haven’t been lucky enough to get an appointment with him. Unexpected circumstances landed me an appointment. I’m grateful to have come across such a caring physician. He is great at what he does. He listed to all my symptoms, answered all my questions, was very thorough but most importantly did not rush our appointment. I would definitely follow him where ever he goes.
