I have only had a few Drs. in my life. When I find one I like I stick with him...my last Dr. I'd had for 30 yrs. Dr. Amby is easily the most patient and thorough Dr. I've seen in a very long time. No only is he thorough, he takes the time to explain your condition to you in detail. I never leave his office no completely understanding what I'm dealing with at the time. I'm gonna be with him for a while!!

As a board certified family practitioner, Dr. Alexander Amby provides exemplary care to members of the Tenet-Dallas and Lakewood area. With an emphasis on helping his patients achieve overall health and wellness, Dr. Amby provides well-rounded care in which he educates each patient about their diagnosis and treatment options.
A graduate of Dartmouth Medical School and the Alpert Medical Schools of Brown University, Dr. Amby has a premier ivy-league education that he puts to use each time he treats a patient. He continues his education today as an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians.
When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Amby enjoys spending time with his family at their home in Dallas, Texas.
