About Dr. Alexander Hansen
Dr. Hansen is an ENT physician who serves adult and pediatric patients in Austin and Cedar Park, Texas.
Dr. Hansen grew up outside of Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated summa cum laude with honors from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Biology and Psychology and a minor in Spanish. He then earned his M.D. at UT Southwestern in Dallas where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
After graduation, Dr. Hansen completed his Otolaryngology internship and residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. His training involved rotations at Parkland Hospital, Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, and the Dallas VA Hospital. Dr. Hansen has published multiple journal articles and presented at national meetings. He is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, the Texas Medical Association, and the Travis County Medical Society.
In his spare time, Dr. Hansen enjoys attending concerts, collecting vinyl records, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs football team.
