He then moved to New York where he spent five years as a General Surgery resident at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Hospital, the mother hospitals of one the largest health systems in the Northeast. He was named Chief Resident of the Year by the faculty and staff upon his graduation.
He then spent a year of intensive training in Hand and Microsurgery at the world renowned Kleinert Institute in Louisville, KY. Dr. Krawiecki believes in the personal aspect of medicine.
