My first visit to Dr. Parker was the best Psychotherapy experience I have ever experienced. I went in for an evaluation and Dr. Parker was very friendly, and made sure I was as comfortable during the entire visit. Everything that was discuss during my visit came with an explanation of what kind of treatment will be suitable. I left feeling lighter and content. I would highly recommend Dr. Parker to anyone needing to see a Psychiatrist in the New York area. He is by far and away the best.

Dr. Parker is a board certified psychiatrist who has been practicing psychiatry for the past 9 years. He is currently offering private telepsychiatry services to New York and Michigan residents. He has expertise in both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy and typically provides a combination of both to his patients. He takes care to understand your situation and customizes his treatment to suit your needs. Most of Dr. Parker's patients are young men and women who suffer from anxiety and depression due to stress at work and home. He also has patients who suffer from a variety of mental disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, and schizophrenia.
Dr. Parker sees his patients using specialized HIPPA-compliant teleconference software. The software is free and works on PC, Mac, desktop, laptop, tablet, or even smartphone. A stable internet connection is also required. New patients are provided this software to install prior to their first appointment. Patients who are homebound or are unable to commute to see a psychiatrist may find this arrangement to be particularly convenient for them.
Dr. Parker's office hours are currently Saturday from 9AM to 5PM. Unfortunately, most insurance companies do not cover telepsychiatry services at this time. Dr. Parker's current out-of-pocket rate is $100/30-minutes with a $100 minimum charge. Session lengths are flexible. Credit card payments are accepted. Very good experience. Easy to talk to and very thorough. Also, does a combination of talk therapy and regulation of medication, which is a difficult combination to find these days.

Dr Parker is always wonderful. He is very easy to talk to, and coming from me that's a big complement because I have extreme social anxiety. Not only that he has a broad view of different solutions and ideas, and always works to find out what treatment you're most comfortable with. High marks all around.

Just a really nice, down to earth, compassionate person. It's extremely hard in NYC to find somone who wants to do more than prescribe medication, and then send you on your way 10 minutes later. I really do highly recommend, as he actually honestly seemed to care.

Dr Parker is the best shrink I have ever been to. He is so patient and engaging that you might feel as though you're talking with a friend. His warm, down-to-earth attitude and extensive "real-world" knowledge has helped me overcome issues and I'm certain he can help you with yours. I highly recommend him to anyone wanting to get actual help.

Dr. Parker is very easy to talk to. He is honest about medications and really takes the time to listen to you. You do not feel rushed at all. Have been to several therapists and I would strongly recommend Dr. Parker. He is able to provide you with confidence that you will improve.

Dr. Parker is personable, likable, intelligent, compassionate and totally and completely cool AND hasn't a trace of arrogance. He is extremely easy to talk to, he listens and he doesn't ask stupid questions. I liked him very much and look forward to a long doctor/patient relationship with him. He rocks!

I arrived late and was brought in almost immediately. Dr. Parker was friendly and asked me lots of questions about what problems I was having and about my personal life. He was very honest about the pros and cons of medication and I felt he gave an accurate diagnosis and had a good understanding of the severity. Total time in his office was about 45 minutes and I plan to make a follow up appointment soon.
