Board Certified in Anesthesiology, Pain Medicine and Acupuncture, Dr. Rances has nearly 20 years of experience treating pain.
Prior to his medical training, Dr. Rances practiced acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine for several years. His unique background allows him to apply the latest advancements in interventional techniques alongside more holistic concepts such as acupuncture and osteopathic principles. He was even featured on a “Good Morning America” segment, discussing drug-free treatment for pain.
At Integrative Pain Management of NY, the goal of Dr. Rances and his team is to improve the quality of life of his patients using proven and evidence-based medicine, including acupuncture, physical therapy, massage, chiropractic, and when necessary various interventional procedures. Some treatments include epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, joint/tendon injections, kyphoplasty and spinal cord stimulation.

I’ve already published a review about Dr. Rances, unsolicited. But since Hudson Spine (a high quality medical provider) asked that I write one, I’ll reiterate from my last review.
Dr. Rances is one of the few doctors that you can actually tell cares about his patients, despite the high volume he serves. His perspective is wide and holistic, and he’s not afraid to advocate for a patient above all else. High level medical acumen combined with sincerity is a truly rare find when it comes to physicians. You will experience both with Dr. Rances. (I’ve been a patient at Hudson since approximately 2016)

I've seen Dr. Rances for years. He is a great guy and listens attentively. He does not come off as arrogant and rushed as many doctors do. He was trained in eastern, as well as western medical science, so his viewpoint on medical issues is expansive with regard to perspective and approach.
Certainly recommended if pain management is what you need.
