After finishing pediatric residency and neonatology fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Dr. Alfredo Garcia opened his private practice in Mahopac, New York with full view of beautiful Lake Mahopac. After three years, he then relocated his office to Carmel where he occupied the first medical office at the new Barns Office Center across from Putnam Hospital Center. In April of this year, he moved to a newer office within the same complex. Everybody is welcome to visit.
Dr. Garcia is a faculty member at New York Medical College. He offers preventive check-ups and same-day scheduled sick visits to all children from newborns to adolescents until age 21 years. Dr. Garcia provides newborn care at both Northern Westchester Hospital and Putnam Hospital Center. Sick children are admitted at Northern Westchester Hospital while critically ill ones are referred to Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. For patients needing more detailed evaluation and treatment, he often refers his patients to CWPW’s pediatric subspecialists.
