I had two consultations with two different doctors regarding a breast lift/augmentation to be able to make an informed decision. My second consultation was with Dr. Algrid Mameniskis. Compared to the other doctor, Dr. Algrid didn't seem to be as knowledgable. When he asked me if I wanted a saline or silicon implant I asked him what he recommended for my specific situation and he said either one, he did explain the differences though. Although Dr. Algrid was very professional, when I asked questions regarding implant size and type he didn't seem sure about his answers. He sent his assistant in with a 275 and a 300 implant, when I told her I thought they were too small she recommended 375 or 400. I asked if Dr. Algrid would be okay with that since I've had a sagging problem and she said yes without asking him. He also recommended a high profile implant which the previous dr didn't want to do due to the lift/sagging issue. Again, Dr. Algrid is very professional and I'm sure he knows what he's doing, I just felt a lot more comfortable and confident with my first consultation.
