It was my first visit, and it is the first OB/GYN visit I can honestly say I was very comfortable with, she was excellent and seemed to take the time to care and quick with exam. I have always dreaded annual exams and just procrastinated going, but now I have found a doctor that I feel very comfortable with.

Dr. Alicia Jones was born in Salt Lake City, and did most of her growing up in Tennessee. She completed her undergraduate education at the university of Tennessee-Knoxville in 2001, graduating summa cum laude. She attended medical school at the Quillen college of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. her residency training was at the University of Florida-Jacksonville. She established her private practice back in Utah at Alta View Hospital. Dr. Jones was recently elected department chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Alta View Hospital.
Dr. Jones enjoys gynecologic care of all women from teenagers through postmenopausal women. She also loves delivering babies and feels like being a mom of three allows her to understand the concerns of her pregnant patients on a very personal level. She does perform almost all of her patients’ deliveries even when not “on call”. her gynecologic interests include minimally invasive procedures such as in-office endometrial ablations and tubal sterilizations, laparoscopy, infertility, adolescent gynecology and helping women ease through the menopausal transition.
Outside the office, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband and three sons ages 6, 4 and 1. trying to find free time is a challenge, but when she has some she enjoys cooking, baking, reading and outdoor activities such as hiking and taking the kids to the park.

After 8 different ob's and three years of si, I have finally found my ob! So happy! Even though it was a bit of a maze to find (being unfamiliar with the area), and the front office was mildly cranky, any concerns I had that this was yet another dr who didn't care, quickly and completely flew out the window. What a breath of fresh air she is! Caring, thorough, professional- she asked me what I thought and gave me options no one had before. She's got me quickly on the path to my dream babies and I already trust her to deliver them. Cannot recommend her enough. She's worth it and made me feel worth it, too
