Dr. Alison Messina joins The Vascular Care Group’s Hyannis, MA, office following her vascular fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She has received several recognitions as a skilled surgeon and is enthusiastic about surgical techniques and innovations. Dr. Messina is committed to lifelong learning and has been involved in numerous research projects and publications.
After studying healthcare management, Dr. Messina earned her medical degree from the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, CT, and completed her general surgery residency at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, NY.
Dr. Messina is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and believes in a multidisciplinary approach to treatment, working closely with other specialists to ensure the best outcomes for her patients. She promotes preventative care and empowering patients to better understand their health.
Outside of the operating room, Dr. Messina values spending quality time with her husband and growing family, as well as exploring the outdoors with their retriever. She enjoys cooking, golf, and skiing, leading a busy, well-rounded life.
She is excited to join Drs. Gorin, Rosen, and Phillips, and the team in Hyannis and looks forward to serving the community with the highest level of vascular care.
