Dr. Alla Khalfin is a thorough, compassionate endocrinologist treating patients in Syosset, New York, and the surrounding communities. Her goal as a practitioner is to listen to her patients and help them achieve their healthcare goals. She holds certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. She is also a member of professional organizations including the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the American College of Physicians, and the Endocrine Society.
In order to pursue her medical degree, Dr. Khalfin attended the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of the New York Institute of Technology. She continued her medical education through the Staten Island University Hospital and North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. At these institutions, she completed an internship program and received residency training in internal medicine. Dr. Khalfin has also completed a fellowship program in clinical endocrinology at the Westchester Medical Center.
